5 Cannabis Products to Try in 2017
With the many question marks of 2017, let’s go into the new year with some things to look forward to in our canna-lives. Here’s a small list of some of great products and brands to try—and pay attention to—in the coming year.
Anything by Fairwinds
If you want a product that targets very specific feelings, you’ll have to give Fairwinds Manufacturing a try. With their own in-house testing facility and a focus on wellness with products like Deeper Sleep Capsules (8.4%THC/1.4%CBD), Recharge Sativa Capsules (10.2%THC/0.6%CBD), and EmergenCBD (0.0%THC/1.5%CBD) for immune boost—to name just a few, Fairwinds could be a game-changer for the industry.
Topshotz
With Prohibition Gold’s new “Culinary Marijuana Mixer,” you can turn any meal into a cannabis-infused edible. Sprinkle some on salad, sandwiches, pizza, pad Thai—anything—and let the powder absorb into the food. What’s so exciting about Topshotz is that you’re no longer restricted to a limited choice of pre-cooked edibles. You can turn any food you like into an intoxicating dish! Keep in mind, like all edibles, the high can take 1–2 hours to kick in.
Silicone Bongs
For those of us who love our bongs and bubblers, it’s difficult to travel or enjoy the outdoors with these fragile (usually glass) accessories. Enter the indestructible silicone bong. These crazy cool contraptions bend, twist, flex, squish, and stretch in any direction. They’re shatter-proof, heat-resistant, and made of food-grade silicon. Just make sure to pour the water out before stuffing one into your backpack!
Treehawk Farms
Out on Washington’s Olympic Peninsula, Treehawk Farms is putting out small batches of organic, artisanal cannabis, grown on their family farm in Chimacum. Their strains available at 2020 Solutions are Ace of Spades, Northwest Pineapple, Snoop’s Dream, and The Wills. This small family farm is living the dream, keeping their footprint to a minimum, and strengthening their community—while delivering exceptional cannabis that we all get to enjoy!
Sugarleaf
This Skagit Valley grower is producing some of the most beautiful, terpene-rich, organic and sustainably grown flower out there, with strains like White 99, Bubba Kush, and Monica Lewinsky, among dozens of others. Their aquaponic system incorporates large tanks of goldfish and koi to produce the beneficial bacteria needed for healthy plants. Sugarleaf also puts out all-natural, solvent-free kief, rosin, and “Golden Nuggets,” which are little ‘popcorn’ buds, rolled in rosin and dusted in kief!
There's always something new and exciting in the cannabis industry. Come talk to a budtender if you want to see what's out there or what's on the horizon!
