In the small town of Darrington, at the foot of the North Cascades, Vince Nguyn, and his mother and brother quietly grow some of Washington’s finest flower at their small family farm, Green Haven LLC. This humble tier-2 grower is in the top seven percent of all 1,052 producer/processors in Washington, and they’re inching their way up as more people discover their no-nonsense, high-quality product.
That’s impressive, considering they don’t advertise—no Facebook, no website, nothing (for now)—it’s all word of mouth. And they can hardly keep up. “We barely have enough product to sell,” says Nguyn, whose expertise goes back nearly a decade. As a former medical dispensary owner in Olympia, Nguyn brings a lot of care and attention to his plants, and prides Green Haven on putting out a pure, clean, hang-dried product that speaks for itself.
Green Haven cycles through a selection of over 60 strains (flower only), and Nguyn is particularly fond of their Lemon Skunk, Atomic, and Blueberry varieties. Their stock tends to move quickly. And it varies, so keep an eye on what’s available.
