An Anonymous Testimonial

When you work in the cannabis industry, you often receive questions about why you would want to work in a pot shop. This one really made an impact on us, and we wanted to share in case it may help you or someone you know. The author asked to remain anonymous, so we will refer to him as "John"

To whom it may concern:

My name is "John". I am 40 years old and from Ephrata, WA. I'll just get right to the point. I have struggled with addiction and alcoholism almost my entire life. I was in my first rehab at 12 years old, and I spent a decade living on the streets. I was literally that person who slept under bridges, begged for spare change, and held a cardboard sign near the freeway entrance. I was using inhuman amounts of crack cocaine, heroin, pain pills, and alcohol. I was constantly in and out of the hospital, due to my addiction and mental health problems (anxiety and panic attacks). I often smoked marijuana, as a kid, but had to stop because it exacerbated my anxiety and resulted in trips to the emergency room. For 20 years (at least), I completely avoided marijuana.

My life continued its decent, further and further towards the bottom. My family would no longer speak to me. I didn't have any friends. I was completely alone with my booze and my dope. There was no objective reason for me to continue living. My depression was so bad that I would sleep 16-18 hours a day. Doctors were clueless as to how to help me. I tried every type of anti-depressant available, all to no avail. It was horrifying, to say the least.

Finally, after going over my history with a doctor, he recommended marijuana. Of course, I was very hesitant to take this advice and pondered it for months. I was very scared of marijuana, given my history with it, but I was out of ideas. I was at the end of the road. Drunk or sober, I simply couldn't function. I reluctantly went to the 2020 Solutions store, also in Ephrata, WA. The "budtender" there spent at least an hour with me, discussing my history with mental illness and, more specifically, my history with marijuana. He concluded that a 1:1 ratio vape cartridge would be the best bet. For 6 months now, I have been using the 1:1 ratio vape cartridge, as well as the "Deep Sleep," all made by Fairwinds. The results have been staggering. I am functioning and feeling better than I have in years. My blood pressure is down, my anxiety is gone, my depression is almost non-existent, I find life interesting again, I play my guitar again, I smile and laugh more, I am reunited with my family and old friends, and I am now a decent person to be around. None of this was the case prior to using Fairwinds. Your products have literally changed my life. I only use Fairwinds, and refuse to even try anything else. Why change what works? Aside from everything I previously mentioned, it has also solved my addiction problems. I have no desire to drink alcohol or use hard drugs. Never in my wildest imagination, while sleeping under some random bridge, did I think that marijuana would someday be a large part of my success, and the end of the terrible life I was living.

I just wanted to write you guys and say: THANK YOU! The difference your products have made in my life is beyond words. I have dreams and goals that I am on my way to achieving, in large part because your product allows me to function like a "normal" human being. I simply cannot thank you enough.
